The Kremlin: Putin conveyed Iran's point of view to Trump

The Kremlin says that Vladimir Putin has informed Donald Trump of Iran's point of view.

According to the Russian news agency Interfax, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: "In coordination with the Iranian president, Putin conveyed to Donald Trump Iran's views on possible ways to resolve the conflict."

Russian President and Massoud Pezhkian met on the sidelines of two meetings of the Caspian Sea countries and a meeting of the heads of the Commonwealth of Nations in Turkmenistan on Thursday.

Russian news sources reported yesterday from Turkmenistan that Vladimir Putin told Massoud Pazhkian that Russia is ready to take "all necessary measures" to help end the war with Iran.
