Pillai awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to survivors of international crimes
After receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, Navi Pillai says she is still "shocked by the power of Shasaidi", but at the same time "feels deeply honored and grateful".
He said in an interview with reporters that he is giving this award to all "survivors of international crimes as well as activists and defenders of international justice."
Ms. Pillai said that efforts to weaken the rules "risk returning us to a world where force, not law, determines whose suffering matters."
He added that in all the positions he held, he was always committed to promoting and protecting the dignity of all human beings, especially the rights of women and children.
