Shahbaz Sharif condemned the Houthi attacks on the airports in Saudi Arabia

Shahbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, strongly condemned the Houthis' repeated attacks on Saudi Arabia, including the ground attack on Riyadh and Abha international airports, which led to the killing and injury of civilians.

In a message on social network X, Mr Sharif thanked Saudi forces and the Saudi-led coalition for intercepting the Houthi ballistic missiles and said Pakistan stood by Saudi Arabia in "unwavering solidarity".

Referring to the defense agreement signed by Pakistan with Saudi Arabia and Turkey, he said: "Within the framework of the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement and the recent decisions of the Political and Security Strategic Committee, our commitment to the sovereignty, territorial integrity and security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a firm and firm commitment."

Mr. Sharif added that Pakistan fully supports Saudi Arabia's "legitimate right to protect its people and protect its cities and vital infrastructure." The prime minister of Pakistan also said: "The Houthi militias must immediately end these attacks."
