Lufthansa and Air India stopped their flights to Riyadh

Lufthansa and Air India, airlines belonging to Germany and India, announced that they would suspend their flights to Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, following the Houthi attacks.

The suspension of flights to Riyadh is due to the escalation of Houthi attacks on airports and oil facilities in Saudi Arabia.

Yemen's Houthis, who are allies of Iran, escalated their attacks against Saudi Arabia on Thursday and tried to disable Saudi Arabia's airspace and oil by firing a missile that killed three people and severely damaged a plane this week.

This group announced that it was targeting the airport in Riyadh and warned workers to stay away from the energy plants that were going to be the target of the ground attack.

According to reports, a passenger plane of the state-owned Saudi Arabian Airlines was damaged by these attacks at King Khalid Airport in Riyadh.
