France summoned the Iranian ambassador
The French Foreign Ministry summoned the Iranian ambassador. Pascal Confebrou, a spokesman for the French Foreign Ministry, said that this action was taken in connection with Iran's "campaign of false information" regarding the interception movement of French high school students.
In his statement, Mr. Confabro warned the Iranian ambassador that publishing false content on the official accounts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran in cyberspace "is not acceptable at all."
He also added that yesterday's summons of the French ambassador in Tehran was baseless.
Yesterday, Tuesday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the French ambassador in Tehran for the "violent behavior" of the police with the protesters and the widespread violation of human rights.
