How many dead and wounded in the recent Russian attacks on Ukraine
Last night, Russian forces launched a massive and integrated ground attack against Ukraine.
These attacks were carried out in several waves using ballistic missiles and cruise missiles as well as suicide drones.
In Kyiv, two people died as a result of this ground attack. In the city of Priloki, a missile caused the complete destruction of a residential tower.
At least 11 people have been killed and 26 injured as of this writing, but the death toll is likely to rise as people are still trapped under the rubble.
Officials announced that two more people were killed in Kramanchuk. This city, along with Kyiv and Dnipro, was one of the main targets of cruise and ballistic missile attacks.
The cities of Zaporizhia, Trifilia (near Kiev) and other cities were also targeted in a ground attack.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the attacks as "Putin's birthday present".
