Since the beginning of the war, Iran has tried to take control of this vital oil and gas transfer route of the Persian Gulf and has sometimes turned to ships it has accused of not coordinating with the Iranian authorities or deviating from its intended route.

On the other hand, America implements the blockade on Iranian ports and targets ships that do not follow the orders of American forces, according to Washington.

In its statement, India once again called for an immediate end to these attacks in order to maintain peace and stability in the region and said: "The targeting of commercial shipping, seafarers and civilian infrastructure in the region must be ended and traffic and trade through international waterways must be resumed as soon as possible."
