Ali Kazemi, spokesman for the judiciary, said today at his press conference that Mohammad Bakr Harazi, Secretary General of Iran's Hezbollah, was released on bail after six months in prison.
The spokesman for the judiciary emphasized that the initial investigation of the case continues and no indictment has been filed against Mr. Harazi.
Previously, Mr. Kazmi announced the arrest of Mr. Harazi on September 17.
Mohammad Bakr Harazi, Secretary General of Iran's Hezbollah, has been criminally prosecuted for his recent statements against several officials in the Islamic Republic, and he has been summoned to the special court in Rouhanit.
Mr. Harazi claimed that he would accept the resignation of Mujtaba Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic, if Masoud Pazhkian resigned again. He also said that Muhammad Bakr Zulkader will be removed from the position of Secretary of the Supreme Council for National Security and Mohsen Razai will take his place. He also said that Abbas Iraqichi, Iran's foreign minister, had been informed that he no longer had the option to intervene in the negotiations. The Iranian president's office called his words about Massoud Pazhkian's resignation "an illusion and a pure lie" and at the same time, the office of the leader of the Republic of Salami also denied the quote attributed to Mujtaba Khamenei.
