CENTCOM: US forces destroyed 13 commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz in the last three months

The U.S. military's Central Command, CENTCOM, announced Monday that U.S. forces have destroyed 13 commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz in the past 12 weeks.

Centcom announced, "These commercial ships either defied the naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz by the US Navy; the blockade, which was renewed about three months ago by the order of US President Donald Trump, or were part of the secret network of the Revolutionary Guards in the amount of billions of dollars.

According to Centcom, since July 14 (July 23), US forces have disabled three ships that refused to obey orders and diverted 130 commercial ships trying to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
