This is despite the fact that an hour before, Marco Rubio told reporters that the reporters should not focus only on the security incident near the Preford base, but that the movement of the bombers could be related to the regular rotation of troops and equipment.

JD Vance also said on Monday and before he left for Alaska that all US bombers had been removed from Farford Air Force Base in Britain as an "extra precaution" after last week's security incident near that base.
