Trump called Ukraine's attacks on Russian refineries a "surge in gasoline prices."
Donald Trump saw Ukraine's attacks on Russian refineries as the reason for the increase in gasoline prices and emphasized that the Iran war is no longer the reason for this increase.
The President of the United States wrote on the Truth social network: "What is causing the price of gasoline to rise now is not the Strait of Hormuz, because an unprecedented number of oil barrels pass through it almost every day, but the issue of the "refineries", where the Russian refineries are being blown up by Ukraine.
Mr. Trump, whose Republican Party faces the risk of losing control of Congress in next month's U.S. midterm elections, also cited the shutdown of refineries in Democratic-controlled states as another factor driving up gasoline prices.
