Pedro Sánchez, Prime Minister of Spain, announced the holding of early national elections.
The next elections in Spain were scheduled for the summer of next year/2027, but it has now been announced that they will take place on November 8/29.
Mr Sanchez's plan to deal with the housing crisis was rejected in the Spanish parliament on Friday.
On Friday, the representatives of the Spanish Parliament rejected two bills of the Spanish government with 178 votes against against 172 votes in favor.
Afterwards, protesters gathered in front of the Spanish Parliament building in Madrid with the slogan "Your profit, the cause of our misery" and said they would continue their sit-in.
National interceptions for the housing problem reached a peak when an 87-year-old woman was evicted from the house she had lived in for nearly 70 years, due to her inability to pay the rent that had suddenly increased.
The increase in the rent of this woman's house was 300 euros more than her monthly pension.
