The price of oil reached $102 in the first working hours of the new week
As East Asian oil markets opened, the price of a barrel of Brent crude oil started the new week at just over $102.
Although the military conflict between the US and Iran stopped without a ceasefire, the growing tension in the statements of the leaders of the two countries, and especially Donald Trump, who spoke again about the destruction of Iran if the country does not reach an agreement with the US, kept the price of oil high.
At the same time as the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the beginning of the autumn season and the cooling of the weather in Europe, the supply of the oil market was kept high at the beginning of the season of increased demand.
