Iran has officially intercepted Norway for what it called "unauthorized Starlink activity".
According to Iran's state news agency - IRNA - the Director General of International Peace and Security of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country, Mohammad Hassanjad Firkohi, officially intercepted what he called "the process of abuse of the Starlink satellite internet systems by the US and its captives to carry out intervention measures against Iran" by inviting the Norwegian ambassador.
On Sunday, October 12, Iran's official interception position to the Norwegian government was described as follows in a quote from the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs: "Norway, as a country that registers the Starlink network with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), had to take the necessary measures to prevent unauthorized transmissions of Starlink on the territory of Iran, based on Iran's radio regulations in recent years (RRB). "However, despite repeated surveillance by the Republic Iran restricts public access to the Internet through filtering and multi-layered security considerations. This controlled access is also stopped in cases such as the record of internal interceptions or military attacks in the last year, usually without prior notice and without explaining the legal reasons. For this reason, unlimited internet access like the Starlink network is in significant demand in Iran.
