With the approval of the city council, the name of Novniad Square in Tehran was changed to Simkhani Square

The Tehran City Council changed the names of four places in Tehran and called them after military and political officials who were killed in the war with America and prisoners of Israel.

According to this decision, Nubniad Square in northern Tehran was renamed "Kill Admiral Ali Shimkhani" Square.

Darya Avenue in western Tehran was renamed "Kill Daryaban Alireza Tangsiri".

Ram Street in the Revolutionary Guards area was changed to "Kill Dr. Kamal Harazi".

The highway under construction known as Dogaz in western Tehran is also named after "killed Emir Seyed Abdul Rahim Mousavi".
