🔻 Nav "Yavass George H. W. Bush" arrived in Phuket, Thailand to rest the crew
An aircraft carrier based on the George H.W. Bush entered the port of Phuket in Thailand on Sunday (October 4) for a rest and recreation period for her 4,800 crew.
According to media reports, this aircraft carrier has been supporting the American operation for months during the tensions with Iran.
Reuters, citing local media, reported that the ship will dock in coastal waters, but its crew is expected to go ashore on Sunday and spend five days on the island.
This visit follows last month's stopover of the USS Abraham Lincoln at Laem Chabang port. According to estimates, about five thousand crew members of this ship spent an amount equivalent to three million US dollars in this area.
