The Houthis in Yemen took responsibility for the ground attack on the facilities of the Saudi oil company Aramco

According to news reports, Yemen's Houthis have claimed responsibility for the ground attack on Aramco facilities in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, saying they targeted it with ballistic missiles and drones.

The Houthis said that this ground attack was carried out in retaliation for the Saudi attacks on Sana'a and other areas in Yemen.

An eyewitness told the Reuters news agency that at the beginning of Saturday, a large column of smoke and fire was seen near one of Aramco's facilities in Riyadh.

Saudi Arabian authorities have not yet confirmed the ground attack on Aramco facilities, and Aramco did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

This ground attack is reported at a time when tensions between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis have increased.
