Tehran Governor: 45% of the attacks were against Tehran Province

The Governor of Tehran said that he described the damage of the recent war as "extensive" and stated that about 45% of the attacks were against Tehran.

Mohammad Sadegh Motamedian said that "more than 23,000 tons of bombs were used in Tehran Province and the city of Tehran" and "more than 60,000 housing units in Tehran Province were damaged, ranging from minor damage to complete destruction."

According to him, "more than a third" of the casualties in the war were from Tehran Province. He did not provide any other statistics in this regard.
