In Gaza, five Palestinians were killed as a result of a ground attack by captives on a residential building

In Gaza, health officials and the rescue forces announced that at least five Palestinians were killed in a residential building in this city following the Israeli airstrike on Saturday morning.

The IDF has not yet responded to this.

Last year, with the mediation of the US, an agreement was reached to establish a cease-fire between the Israeli prisoners and Hamas, but the negotiators have not yet reached an agreement on the conditions for the disarmament of Hamas and the withdrawal of the captured Israeli forces.

In recent weeks, Israel has escalated its attacks on Gaza and says that Hamas has renewed its weapons and is carrying out attacks by violating the cease-fire, but Hamas has rejected the attempt to carry out attacks or to rebuild its weapons stockpile and accuses Israel of violating the peace agreement in Gaza. The health authorities in Gaza have announced that at least 1,400 Palestinians have been killed in attacks by Israeli captives since the ceasefire was established last October. Another captive says that during this period four of its soldiers were killed by armed men in Gaza.
