Coalition led by Saudi Arabia: We intercepted three ballistic missiles fired at southern Saudi Arabia
The Saudi-led coalition, which is at war with the Yemeni Houthis, announced on Friday that it had intercepted and destroyed three ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis towards the city of "Khamis Mushit" in southern Saudi Arabia.
The Houthis also say that in the last twenty-four hours, Saudi Arabia has carried out 94 ground attacks on Yemen.
The conflict between Saudi Arabia and the Iran-backed Houthis has reached its most intense level since the 2022 UN-backed ceasefire.
At the same time, the conflicts around the strategic city of Taiz increased and also included parts of the heights overlooking the coastal areas of the Red Sea. the areas that the Iran-backed Houthis have recently taken over.
Taiz is the third largest city in Yemen and its cultural capital and its population is almost one million inhabitants.
