German warning of more instability in global fuel markets

The German government has warned of more instability in the global fuel market. This warning was raised after the US asked European countries to release some of their diesel reserves in order to reduce the pressure caused by the increase in energy prices.

The German government spokesman emphasized the need for "coordinated and mutual solutions" and said: "We want to stabilize the markets, not create more instability."

He also said about the release of additional fuel reserves that his country "is not aware of a new request from the International Energy Agency".

The US threatened to limit the export of diesel oil against the background of rising costs due to the war in Iran. Donald Trump, the president of the United States, has also said that he may consider banning the export of American diesel.
