The French government's attempt to end the interception of students

France's minister of higher education has announced that he will continue to talk with student representatives to stop nationwide interceptions regarding school conditions.

Philip Baptiste announced that he would meet with the protesters on Friday to discuss their demands, including the allocation of additional resources to the education system.

At the same time, he condemned the violence that occurred in certain areas during the interceptions.

Following these unrests, more than 400 schools across France are closed today and the activities of 40 universities have also been affected.

On Thursday, the police arrested 2,000 people during the blocking of school entrances by students.

The students had an interception due to overcrowding in the classrooms and exhaustion of the educational facilities. During these interceptions, at least two schools were also set on fire.
