š» OpenAI, the creator of ChatJipity, has fired three of its researchers for data mismanagement; one of the cited cases was related to cooperating with a foreign organization to analyze artificial intelligence models.
A company spokesperson told the BBC: "Our investigation confirmed that these individuals improperly handled sensitive information outside of established company procedures, violated our policy, and destroyed the trust essential to our operations."
OpenAI did not release the names of the fired employees, but at least two of them worked at the company in the field of Yemeni artificial intelligence research.
The expulsion of these individuals took place amidst a growing debate on artificial intelligence in Yemen and the potential dangers of this technology for humanity.
An OpenAI spokesperson said: "We have terminated the employment of three individuals who violated our policy regarding access to and handling of sensitive company information."
