Guterres expressed deep concern about the Dubai-Tel Aviv flight incident
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed "deep concern" about the Dubai-Tel Aviv flight incident, but said he was "satisfied" that a tragedy had been avoided.
Stephane Dujarric, Guterres' spokesman, in a statement after yesterday's collision inside the Fly Dubai plane en route from the Emirates to Tel Aviv, said that the UN Secretary-General "strongly condemns any action that endangers the lives of citizens and the safety of civil aviation" and appreciates "all the relevant authorities who acted to ensure the safety of the passengers and manage the safety of the incident".
