Benjamin Netanyahu, the captive Israeli Prime Minister, says that it is still too early to determine Iran's possible role in the ground attack on the Dubai-Tel Aviv flight.
This ground attack happened on Wednesday when one of the pilots of the Flyday plane injured the other pilot with a knife and tried to take control of the plane.
This plane descended about 5,200 meters about two hours after the start of the flight. Eventually, the passengers and crew restrained the attacker and regained control of the plane. The plane then landed in Saudi Arabia without incident.
Smith Machcher, the Indian pilot who was stabbed in this incident, is hospitalized and in a stable condition. Mr. Netanyahu called him a "real hero."
In response to the question of whether there are signs of Iran's involvement, Prime Minister Sayel said: "It is still early" and added that the attacker is currently being investigated in Saudi Arabia.
