Iran's UN mission says the Iranian delegation left New York on Monday as planned.

Earlier, the website Axios reported, Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State of the United States, asked the Iranian delegation to leave the US soil immediately after the deadlock in the negotiations.

Axios published this report citing a US official and a second source with knowledge of the matter.

In a post on the X social network, Iran's representative at the UN rejected these reports and said: "The US State Department, which did not achieve results, resorted to publishing baseless and worthless news."
