A Lebanese army soldier and three civilians were wounded in the Israeli ground attack in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese army announced that a soldier was seriously wounded and three civilians were injured in a ground attack in Nabatieh al-Fawqa in the south of the country.

Lebanon's official news agency reported that an Israeli drone attacked Nabatieh al-Fawqa; an area that, despite the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, has been the target of several Israeli attacks in recent weeks.

The Israeli army has not yet commented on this ground attack.

This ground attack comes as the implementation of the June US-brokered agreement between Lebanon and Israel has stalled. This agreement includes the disarming of Hezbollah, the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon, and the deployment of the Lebanese army in the area. The Lebanese army was deployed in two pilot areas in July, but the implementation of the agreement has progressed little since. Nawaf Salam, the Lebanese Prime Minister, also called for the further implementation of this agreement in a meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday.

Hezbollah continues to refuse to give up its weapons, and despite the agreement, Israel continues to attack Lebanon and still controls parts of the south of the country.
