A spokesman for Iran's judiciary said that in the case of the assassination of Qassem Soleimani, the former commander of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards, "the leaders of the American government were sentenced to pay 48 billion dollars."

Ali Kazemi said that this case has entered the execution stage and "there are three thousand and 317 prosecutors" and "73 wanted people" in the criminal part of this case.

He did not elaborate further.

Qassem Soleimani, during the first term of Donald Trump, was killed in an American ground attack on the outskirts of Baghdad.
