Residents of Bangkok, Thailand's capital, turned a street into a temporary floating market on Monday, October 6/September 28, while parts of the city were under water due to flooding.

Vendors on floating platforms and foam boxes sell fish, vegetables and other goods. Some shoppers used small boats to travel between the market's small temporary stalls to get their needs.

According to Thailand's Ministry of the Interior, Bangkok is one of 41 provinces affected by floods since September 16. These floods killed at least eight people.
