Based on Article 698 of Salmi's Penal Code, the court sentenced Hamid Rasai to "restore the honor and remove the effect of the false claim by publishing a refutation on the front page of December 9" and 10 months in prison.

It was said that due to the fact that this crime happened before the representative period, Hamid Rasai is not subject to parliamentary immunity and the court summoned him to carry out the sentences.

He said in his speech about this verdict at today's parliament session: "With the complaint of Mr. Rouhani, Mr. Pazhkian, Mr. Halivaf and the former secretary of the Supreme Court, a court case was filed against some of the members of parliament, some of which were resolved. One of them is a slave and the sentence is 10 months in prison.

Mr. Rasai said that his case goes back to the complaint of Mr. Halivaf, the Speaker of the Parliament, from the weekly newspaper "December 9".
