Fars: Seven ships were targeted last night in the Strait of Hormuz

The Fars news agency said the Iranian armed forces had "repelled ships trying to cross the Strait of Hormuz illegally" for the past two nights.

According to this news agency, which is close to the defense and military institutions, "seven ships were targeted last night and 12 ships were targeted the night before."

Other sources did not report that these ships were targeted, but in the last two nights some local residents reported hearing the sounds of explosions in the sea around the Strait of Hormuz.

The Revolutionary Guards said in a statement it published a few hours ago: "The Strait of Hormuz is blocked and we are dealing with the dangerous movements and the traffic on unauthorized roads in the Strait of Hormuz, authoritatively and non-stop."
