In his speech in New York, he said that the parties must resolve their differences through dialogue and reach political solutions and sustainable agreements.

Oman's foreign minister also emphasized his country's commitment to try to maintain shipping security in the Strait of Hormuz and asked all parties to cooperate with Muscat in this regard.

These statements were made after US President Donald Trump rejected Iran's proposal for an agreement which, according to Tehran, could lead to the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within a week.

The Strait of Hormuz, which is one of the main energy transfer routes in the world, has become one of the main axes of the conflict between America and Iran.
