Mr. Pazhkian said: "After arriving in New York and learning about the words of the American president, our approach to the United Nations Assembly speech was influenced by these statements" and added that on this basis he tried to "clearly" defend the positions of the Islamic Republic.

The Iranian president, who returned to Tehran after a five-day trip to New York, said that during this trip he met with a number of leaders and officials from various countries, including the presidents of Switzerland and Bangladesh, the prime ministers of Lebanon, Pakistan and Qatar, as well as the UN secretary general.

He also said that in his interviews and meetings he tried to explain Iran's positions regarding the American attacks and Israeli prisoners, and accused these two countries of harming Iranian people, infrastructure and scientists.
