One of the people she connected with on Tinder was Lucas, a medical student. Maria Paula decided to talk to him about the chronic pain that forced her to use a wheelchair.

He remembers that since he was three years old, his hands burned as if "on fire"; A feeling of peace accompanied by pain and peeling of his skin. The doctors could not diagnose the cause of this problem.

But a conversation with Lucas put him on the path that finally led to the diagnosis of his illness.
