Donald Trump rejected Iran's offer to quickly reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

The American president told reporters: "I reject their offer." "They are losing badly, and that is why they want to make an agreement for the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz."

Mr. Trump reiterated that the US absolutely controls the Strait of Hormuz and is on its way to a great victory.

The American president added that he, like the Iranian authorities, is interested in an agreement, but emphasized that Iran's proposal is "unacceptable".
