Pazheshkian says he has met Mujtaba Khamenei twice so far

Massoud Pazhkian told the American news channel Sibias that during the seven months that have passed since the leadership of Mujtaba Khamenei, he has met with him twice so far.

Mr. Pazhkian said, "In the seven hours I served the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, he had no injuries. We sat on the floor and talked, [referring to himself] because we were not used to it, we kept switching legs and turning around, but he was completely seated during that time and he was so physically healthy that he could tolerate this situation.

Iranian President Mujtaba Khamenei said that he is "in perfect health" and continued, "You hear it from me as a doctor and accept it, there is no problem." Since Mujtaba Khamenei succeeded his father, who was killed in a simultaneous ground attack between Israel and the US on March 9, he has not appeared in public or released a video or audio after his election to the leadership.

Mr. Pazheshkian answered Sibias' question that "When you saw Mujtaba Khamenei, did you ask him if you were allowed to come to America? "Our presence in America does not necessarily require approval, we are informed that we are coming, but our travels are at the disposal of the government."

He previously told Fox News that the leader of the Salami Republic is in "perfect" health and has the ability to rule.
