In the first days of the war with Iran, American soldiers stationed at one of the American air bases in the Middle East ran towards the shelter after hearing a missile warning, when suddenly a missile hit a hangar near one of the shelters and the plane inside caught fire. The bunker was resistant to the blast, but its doors were damaged and the troops inside were trapped.

This is the narrative of General Kenneth Wilsbach, Chief of Staff of the US Air Force, about Iran's ground attack on one of the bases used by US forces. According to him, one of the forces tried to open the door with a knife, but a few moments later, the seat of the plane was on fire and pieces of glass and metal were thrown around. Finally, the door opened and the trapped people got out and ran to safety.
