Centcom, the United States Central Command, announced on Friday that 122 merchant ships had been diverted since the start of the second round of the naval blockade on Iranian ports.

The naval blockade of Iran's ports caused Iran's oil exports to almost stop.

The blockade of Iran's ports began again at the end of July following the ground attack on several oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and the collapse of the Islamabad Strait.
