The Qom District Court of Appeal rejected the appeal of Presto Ahmadi, a singer, and seven other performers and musicians of the Caravansera Concert.

Abbas Karbaghi, head of the 16th branch of the Court of Appeals in Qom, found in his ruling that the evidence and arguments presented by the lawyers of the case were insufficient and confirmed the decision of the lower court.

The singer Prasto Ahmadi along with his band was sentenced to 74 lashes, banned from going out for two years and banned from artistic activity for two years.

Amir Ali Pirnia; Alireza Bachari, Majid Mohsani, Sohail Faqia Nasiri, Mohammad Amin Tehri, Army Division Mohsen and Tamina Mentzebi are the other members of the group that produced and released the virtual concert "Caravan" in 1403.

Ehsan Birgdar, another colleague of this concert, did not request an appeal.

The judgment rendered is final and the Court of Appeals of Com County called the lower court's opinion "sufficient and valid."
