In a speech at the UN General Assembly, Ali Zaidi promised that Iraq would rise again after many years.

Mr. Zaidi pointed to the consequences of closing the Strait of Hormuz on Iraq's economy and said that the country lost about 60% of its monthly income from oil.

The Iraqi Prime Minister expressed concern about the liberalization of shipping and its impact on rising energy prices and supported diplomacy and diplomacy to reduce tensions and resolve the crisis.

He pointed out that security in the Middle East cannot be achieved without a just solution to the Palestinian issue.
