The UN Security Council condemned the increasing attacks by the Houthis in Yemen on Saudi Arabia.

In a rare position, Jerome Bonfon, France's representative to the United Nations and head of the Security Council, said in joint statements:

The members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest terms the continued attacks by the Houthis on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the ground attack on civilian infrastructure and energy, which led to the injury of civilians, including women and children."
