The speech of the President of Iran, Masoud Al-Badishian, at the 81st annual session of the United Nations General Assembly, had a wide impact in Iran and the world. Mr. Medeshkian said that he changed his predetermined text after Donald Trump's speech in which he threatened to destroy Iran.

In this speech, referring to the "assassination" of Ali Khamenei, the leader of Iran, on the first day of the war and the killing of the children of Minab School, Mr. Berezkian called Iran a "victim of terrorism" and said that Iran "does not bend its knee in the face of coercion." While he considered Iran's attacks on neighboring countries to be the country's defense, he pointed out Iran's desire to reach a diplomatic solution.
