A US federal judge has temporarily lifted the ban on the entry of three media outlets into the White House

A federal judge in the United States temporarily canceled Donald Trump's action to ban three news channels from entering the White House and ordered his administration to restore access to these outlets.

The news channels CNN, Amazon Now and Politico considered this ban a "clear violation" of the press's legal right to freedom and a form of discrimination.

Mr Trump initially said he had cut off those media outlets' access to the White House for publishing "fake news". But the White House later accused them of endangering "national security" without providing evidence.
