Fate Majalal managed to take first place in the women's lightweight rowing final with a time of 7:24:57 and win the gold medal of the Asian Games.

It was the first gold for Iranian women at the Asian Games in Nagoya and the fourth gold for Iran's convoy. Majalal also became the first woman in the history of Iranian rowing at the Asian Games to win a gold medal.

Kimia Zari and Zeinab Norouzi also managed to become champions of the Asian Games with a brilliant performance.

In the rowing category, Zeinab Norouzi and Kimia Zarai won the gold medal in the light pairs final with a time of 6:53:93. The Iranian team in rowing with four people also stood in second place and won a silver medal.
