🔻 Captives, Israel says he killed Hamas' head of financial affairs, Khan Yunis

The IDF said its forces killed Muhammad Abu Alwan, the head of Hamas's financial department, in a ground attack on Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

An IDF statement said that Abu Alwan "is involved in determining the budget of all Hamas branches."

The captive army is Sail, whose management transferred more than one billion shekels, equivalent to approximately $330 million, to finance Hamas activities.

According to the IDF prisoners, Muhammad Abu Alwan was "a decisive factor in maintaining the sovereignty and survival of Hamas."
