US President Donald Trump greeted his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping by rolling out a red carpet and conducting a demonstration flight of military aircraft over Joint Base Andrews to begin his historic three-day visit to the US.

During the welcoming ceremony, which also included a red carpet, two B-1 bombers flew over the site to mark the arrival of the artifact.

Trade tariffs, artificial intelligence, the Taiwan and Iran war are expected to be among the most important issues that Trump and Xi will discuss during the week.
