This agreement could affect the recent controversial case in which two members of Iran's national athletics team were sentenced to "short imprisonment" in connection with the accusation of "sexual harassment" of a woman in South Korea.

In June of this year, it was reported that South Korea arrested several athletes and one of the coaches of the Iranian athletics team in connection with the "sexual harassment" of a woman from this country in a hotel.

Detainees were tried in court in December last year and two of them were found guilty.
