Forecasting "small but stable economic growth" in the world despite the continuation of the war in the Middle East
The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECID) announced that despite the war in the Middle East, economic growth in many countries still "showed resistance" and for this reason, the organization slightly increased its GDP growth forecast this year.
According to this organization's new forecast, global economic growth will now stand at 9.2 percent, which is 0.1 percentage point higher than the estimate presented by this group of 38 industrialized countries in June.
The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, which noted that the price of energy has risen sharply since the start of the US and Israeli attacks on Iran last February, mentioned that "significant oil reserves, additional supplies outside the Persian Gulf economies and voluntary support measures by governments have helped to reduce the effects of this crisis on the global economy." This organization also pointed to extensive investments in the field of artificial intelligence and increased production and trade following these investments and said that these factors could lead to "greater economic growth than current forecasts."
