Iran's Deputy Oil Minister: 50% of the damaged production capacity in South Fars has been restored

The Fars news agency reported, citing Iran's deputy oil minister, that about 50% of the damaged production capacity in the gas field in southern Fars has been restored.

Ahmed Zarmkar said that all the planned restoration operations will be completed before the start of the winter season.

Mr. Zarmeker said at the end of August that about 40% of the damaged capacity had returned to the production circuit.

During the last war that began with the simultaneous ground attack of American and Israeli prisoners of war on Iran, it was reported that part of the South Fars gas field was also targeted. This gas field provides a significant part of Iran's energy needs.
