On Tuesday evening, US President Donald Trump announced the meeting of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner with Iranian mediators and representatives and called it positive.

A little later, Steve Witkoff called these statements constructive, and the Iranian side confirmed the meeting between Abbas Iraqichi and Donald Trump's special representative for Middle East affairs.
